Lauq Sapistan is a Unani medicine which is used in the treatment of cold, cough and respiratory ailments. The principle ingredient of this medicine is Sapistan (Cordia dichotama, C. latifolia fruit), It also provides relief in phlegm and reduces inflammation of the pharynx (sore throat), tonsils. It protects the voice box from overuse, irritation or infection. It is Laooq or linctus and is taken by licking with tongue.
